Alessi - 

An Italian dream factory since 1921, founded originally as Fratelli Alessi Omegna - FAO obsessed with quality and skilled craftsmanship subsequently plated their pieces in Nickel, Chrome & Silver. Quickly becoming a brand known for meticulous crafting and perfect finish. Fast forward to the 60s,70s,80s and beyond the brand continues to work on collaborations with the industries best to maintain the serious and fun of Alessi products. Credit: Alessi

 

Bludot -

We believe design should do more than just look good. It needs to consider how each of us live and work, finding creative ways to make both easier and more delightful. To that end, we thoughtfully design every piece in our Minneapolis shop, your’ll find us elbow deep in sketches or doing show and tell with concepts. Namely, every piece has personality and a purpose to be enjoyed by everyone for a good long time. Credit: Bludot

 

Chilewich - 

At home in both residential and commercial spaces around the world, Chilewich products are designed in the New York City studio. Led by creative director Sandy Chilewich, the design team includes master weavers who develop and refine innovative patterns and multi-tonal colours for many collections. Containing a minimum of 18% renewable vegetable content, the woven textiles are made entirely in the United States in Chatsworth, Georgia.                   Credit: Chilewich 

 

David Fussenegger - 

Since 1832, the company has been focusing on processing cotton and cotton-blended yarns, maintaining family ownership for 180 years. Transitioning into a modern business with advances in weaving technology & design has made David Fussenegger achieve milestones on many levels as it continue’s nearly 200 years since it’s establishing.                         Credit: David Fussenegger

 

Ekelund -

As a company since 1692 and commonly known has “ the oldest weaving family in the world “ with roots in textiles dating back to the 1400s. The Ekelund family with 18 generations of ownership and pride creating timeless textiles made with modern weaving techniques. Produced in a factory completely owned and operated by Ekelund they are able to have step by step oversight throughout from concept, to production, sustainability and more.                Credit: Ekelund 

 

Fundamental.Berlin - 

Furniture and Homewares inspired by the Mathematics of Nature. It means we look at patterns and forms that occur in the natural world; we adapt and play with them as a starting point for all of our designs. Those patterns and principles breathe through our products, bringing them to life, revealing themselves slowly. Almost all of what we make relies on the user to give it the final touch, to make it his or her own. We work with natural materials such as European oak, Douglas Fir, pure sheet metals, as well as some surprising new materials and processes. We are a firm rooted in Berlin, Germany, operating globally in a spirit of openness and fairness, exporting to 34 countries and counting. We manufacture our products in small factories that we know well.       Credit: Fundamental.Berlin

 

KINTO - 

A Japanese brand with products ranging from tableware, to interior items, our collections are developed with an aim to propose a thoughtful and comfortable lifestyle. Linenway -

A multi-generation brand with a heritage of European craftsmanship based in Canada. LW has a focus on all categories of the home including Bed & Bath, Decor, Tabletop and more. Cultivating a simple style based on a timeless yet modern aesthetic where the fibre always takes centre stage.   Credit: Linenway 

 

Marimekko -

Founded in 1951, its unparalleled printed fabrics gave it a strong and unique identity. As a company with core values both inside and outside of product production including largely sustainability. Sabre - 

As Francis Gelb, creator of Sabre brand says himself being born with a silver spoon in your mouth creates vocations. The son of a goldsmith family and immersed in the arts of the table from a very young age, he wanted to combine the meticulous work of craftsmanship with his taste for colour, materials and shapes.  Credit: Sabre 

 

Silkeborg-Uldspinderi -

For three generations, our focus has been on working with wool: from the raw fibre to the finished product, whilst retaining focus on good raw materials, excellent processing and high quality. Silkeborg Uldspinderi was established in 1987, but our know-how with regard to the material goes all the way back to the 1940s when Ludvig Bruun Olsen founded the spinning mill that later formed the basis of Silkeborg Uldspinderi. Today, a third-generation Olsen sits at the helm, and he is in the process of transforming the family business from a typical manufacturing company to a modern Danish design brand with a focus on fine craftsmanship and sustainable design.       Credit: Silkeborg-Uld

 

Stelton - 

Founded by army pals over 50 years ago Stelton quickly became known for stunning Danish design. By doing a ground breaking collaboration with Arne Jacobsen - Cylinda-line was created and launched the brand into a global journey. Today collaboration on product designs and collections still is a key to its success while maintaining their brand values of Scandinavian Design, Innovation & Quality. Credit: Stelton
